BrookLynk exists to coordinate partnerships that prepare employers to engage the next generation of workers and to connect young people in the Brooklyns facing barriers to employment with the skills, experiences and professional social networks needed for post-secondary and career success. In partnership with local employers, school districts, colleges, and community partners, BrookLynk works to achieve economic prosperity, equity and well-being for the community. Since 2015, BrookLynk has trained over 400 young people with work-readiness training and coordinated nearly 200 paid summer internships with over 20 employers across various industries. Looking forward to 2018, BrookLynk is working to expand its impact by preparing 200 young people with work skills and coordinating 120 paid summer internships. With the continued support of local employers, BrookLynk is confident in achieving its goals.
