TCMC's Fall 2017 concert features numerous choral works focused on a theme of praise and Thanksgiving. The centerpiece composition is TE DEUM by Dan Forrest, who has been described as having “an undoubted gift for writing beautiful music...that is truly magical” (NY Concert Review), with works hailed as “magnificent, very cleverly constructed sound sculpture” (Classical Voice), and “superb writing...full of spine-tingling moments” (Salt Lake Tribune). Forrest's choral works have received numerous awards and have been highly acclaimed. His commissioned works have been performed in major venues around the world. The Te Deum is a three-movement choral work that offers moving and inspirational musical praise and prayer to God.
Prof. Larry Bach conducts the TCMC with Orchestra, accompanied by Dr. Joshua Tompkins to present a choral concert of some of the world's finest modern masterpieces.
These are all non-ticketed, family-friendly concerts. There is no admission charge. Donations are received at the concert. TWIN CITIES MASTER'S CHORALE is a community choir founded for the purpose of preserving and promoting quality sacred choral music in the Twin Cities area.
