Thanks for your interest in volunteering with Family Dog Rescue!! Below you can find some general information about group volunteering at our shelter. You can also visit our website to learn more about Family Dog Rescue! **Please do not book a date until your team is 100% confirmed**
When: Groups normally come in on Wednesday, or Thursdays from 1pm-4pm.
Who: Groups consist of a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 10 people.
What: The 3 hour shift consists of 1.5 hours of cleaning and organizing, and the other 1.5 hours playing/walking/bathing dogs.
Where: Family Dog Rescue @ 2253 Shafter Ave. off of Industrial St. in the Bernal Hill/Bayview district
**We would love a small donation per attendee as we are a 100% donation based organization. Suggested donation ideas include a monetary donation of $25.
We ask that volunteers wear clothes they are okay with getting dirty: wear closed-toe shoes & pants. You may be using cleaning products such as bleach, so keep this in mind when choosing an outfit. ANY VOLUNTEER WHO SHOWS UP WITHOUT PANTS AND/OR CLOSED TOE SHOES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO VOLUNTEER FOR SAFETY REASONS.

Once you have made your reservation, we will send you a follow up email with more information within 48 hours. *If you need to cancel, please do so on Eventbrite so it clears a space for another group*
