2019 GIRLS' LEAP Empowerment Gala

Every girl is worth it. Every girl deserves to be empowered to value their safety and voice. Help our young women to grow up to be leaders and champions.

We honor Ms. Graham, associate editor/opinion columnist at The Boston Globe and contributor to WBUR, for raising her voice and deepening our conversation about race and racism, domestic violence, and LGBTQ issues.

Please join us for this great cause, great music, light fare, and open bar!  Cocktail Dress is recommended

Your participation will help us continue to empower girls and young women to value and support their safety and well-being. With your help, we’ve done a lot:

  • 20,000 girls served since 1997

  • 95% know how to assess risks and have the skills to stay safe

  • 70% of programming takes place in the Boston neighborhoods of Dorchester, Roxbury and Mattapan directly supporting Boston's inner-city youth

  • 100 volunteers and college mentors every year

“Women and girls deserve to lead lives free of violence and full of joy. Girls' LEAP emboldens girls to stand in their power and to honor their right to safety.  We are raising the next generation of activist leaders and with the guidance and partnership of organizations like Girls' LEAP,  I am confident that their voices will be lifted and their futures will be bright. "

Ayanna Pressley, U.S. Representative, MA District 7
