Cooking for Wellness - 2-Hour Basics: Stocks and Soups - Session B
Cooking for Wellness: 2-Hour Basics are individual 2-hour hands-on cooking classes based on weekly themes. Developed and taught by culinary educators, our classes teach foundational cooking techniques for a healthier lifestyle. Here's what you will learn in this session:
- Soups and Stocks - Learn how to make meat and vegetable stocks and soups for simple, nutritious meals in minutes.
- Make chicken stock two ways, vegetable stock, bean soups, pureed soups, noodle soups, and more!
During each session, participants will learn or re-learn knife skills, basic nutrition and food safety as they prepare recipes with fresh, whole food ingredients. Each session ends with a community meal comprised of the dishes prepared in class.
NOTE: We need a minimum of 18 participants. If there are less than 18 registrations one week before the start of the session, the session will be cancelled and your fees will be refunded ($45/class*)
