Women In Product Conference 2019
Get ready to celebrate the women changing the face of product management!
On Tuesday, November 12, we’ll welcome you and 1,999 other innovative, game-changing product managers at all career stages to the Women In Product Conference 2019 at the Hilton Union Square in San Francisco.
Our fourth annual conference will feature
- Inspiring keynotes and breakout sessions led by talented innovators,
- Insights and best practices from women pioneers in the field, and
- Opportunities to connect with a fierce community of peers and potential mentors.
Whether you’re aiming for the C-Suite or just starting your journey, you’ll end the conference motivated, armed with strategies to fire up your career, and excited to apply new skills you’ve learned throughout the day.
Here’s how the day’s shaping up:
Our doors will open at 7:30 am for registration, coffee, and light fare to fuel your morning. You’ll want to arrive early to check out our Sponsor Pavilion and start mingling and networking in our ReCharge Lounge.
From 9 am to 5:30 pm, we’ll inspire you with our keynotes, focus in on critical topics during our BreakOUT! Sessions, and provide plenty of opportunities to network and build community. Plus, there’ll be plenty of great food and drink to keep your energy high.
Our Sponsor Pavilion, featuring industry leaders like Facebook, Google, Intuit, Paypal, Twitch, and Walmart, will be open until 5:30 pm. Stop by the booths to see what’s new in product and chat about opportunities.
Unwind and deepen new and existing connections during our EmPower Hour Reception from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. We’ll mix it up over drinks and appetizers.
A detailed agenda, a full list of our fabulous sponsor companies, our handy “convince my boss” letter, and a chance to sign up for volunteer opportunities are available on our #19WIP page.
Join us on November 12, and craft your roadmap to success in the next phase of your product management career!
Dive Deeper During Our Post-Conference Workshops
If you want to dive even deeper into specific topics related to the conference themes, sign up for one of our Post-Conference Workshops, which will be held November 13. These immersive sessions will be led by seasoned vets who define (and redefine) the product management field.
These workshops require a separate ticket. Conference tickets do NOT gain access to workshops, nor do workshop tickets admit you to the conference. You can read more about the workshops and get tickets to them here.
These are just a few of the game-changing women featured at #19WIP:
(stay tuned to the #19WIP page for more!)

Peggy Marie Alford • SVP, Core Markets, PayPal
Jennifer Tejada • CEO, PagerDuty
Cassandra Campbell • VP Product, Fair
Sharmeen Browarek • Senior Director of Product, Twitch

Can I change the name or other details on my tickets?
Yes, these changes can be made on Eventbrite by the ticket purchaser. You may change your ticket details up to four days before the event, including name, title, etc. Please double-check these details -- they will be what print on your badge! To make changes, log in to Eventbrite and follow these instructions.
I can't make it. Can I get a refund?
You may request a full refund up to one month before the conference. Log in to Eventbrite and place your refund request following these instructions. As with changes, only the original ticket purchaser can request a refund.
I need a room! How do I get the group rate for the conference?
We've got you covered. Book here by October 10 to receive our group rate!
How do I get to the conference? Is there parking on-site?
You can find conference directions, transit options, and parking information here. Parking at the hotel is limited -- we encourage you to take public transportation. There are additional nearby public garages located at Ellis & O’Farrell and Mason & O’Farrell.
Do I need a printed copy of my Eventbrite ticket?
Nope! Prior to the event, we'll send you an email with a quick-scan QR code to speed you through the check-in process, which you can save to your mobile device. At the event, you can check in using your name, the email associated with your ticket, or text 19WIP to 878787 for a copy of your quick-scan badge.
I'm a new mom. Is there a mother's room at the conference?
Yes! We will ask at registration whether or not you’ll need access to our mother's room, but there is no official sign-up. We just want to be sure we have plenty of private spaces available.
I need childcare. Can you help?
Absolutely! Trusted is offering attendees of this year's conference a $25 childcare credit, redeemable toward in-home care on 11/12. Just use code WIP25.
Can I check my coat or bag?
We’ll have a hosted coat check at the conference.
What food and refreshment should I expect at the conference?
Great question! Food (and coffee!) is important to us too. Here’s what we’ll provide:
We’ll start the day with light breakfast bites at our morning registration mixer, and lunch is provided.
- Coffee, tea, and water will be available throughout the day.
We’ll also provide plenty of snacks and treats to fuel you throughout the day.
We’ll wrap the party with our EmPower networking reception, where you can deepen your new connections (or catch up with far-flung friends) over drinks and small bites.
A note on special dietary requirements: All meals and snacks will include at least one vegan/vegetarian option and we’ll have gluten-free choices. We’ll also have non-dairy alternatives for coffee and tea. There are also many alternative dining options in the hotel and immediate neighborhood.
I have a conference ticket. Does that mean I have access to the workshops?
Post-Conference Workshops + Conference = Separate tickets. Naturally, we’d love to see you at both - but please note the two types of tickets are completely separate. Conference tickets do NOT gain access to workshops, nor do workshop tickets admit you to the conference. You can read up on the workshops and get tickets here.
How do I make sure I've got the latest details, and connect with the WIP community around the conference?
We’ll send regular emails leading up to the conference, and they’ll keep you up to date on all things #19WIP. The official conference app, which will be released in early November, will allow you to pre-game your networking and schedule meetings with other attendees. Follow us on Facebook where you can join the WIP Facebook Community and meet other women going to the event. Connect with us on Twitter and Instagram, and subscribe to the WIP newsletter to never miss an update!
