Welcome to OAKtoberfest 2019!

OAKtoberfest is an all family event. Everyone is welcome including pets (no animals except service animals will be allowed in the brewery).  Events this year include: 

Blessing of the Beer

The first keg of OAKtoberfest

Music: Mad Bavarian Brass Band 1:00 - 6:00, Derrick and Dave 7:00 - 9:30

Kids activities:  Face painting, pumpkin painting, pony rides

Beer Stein holding contests and hop picking

Beer:  We'll launch our ice cold, fresh and flavorful Oak & Iron OAKoberfest Lager. We will also have our full portfolio available in 20 oz pours.

Food:  Brats, potato salad, sauerkraut, burgers, hotdogs, Bavarian pretzels, German chocolate cake, sodas etc.


Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

21 yo +:  The ticket price is $17.00 plus MA meals tax, Eventbrite fee.  The ticket includes one (1) 20 oz pour of any available Oak & Iron brew, one (1) meal ticket, and a wrist band. A valid ID is mandatory for all that wish to purchase a wrist band.  Meal tickets include:

- German Brats, sauerkraut, potato salad, or Burgers, potato salad / chips, and pickle

Under 21 is free

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Free general admission parking at Dundee Park on Essex St.  If heading towards Oak & Iron from Shawsheen Road, turn left at the three way intersection and continue up the hill to before the train tracks and turn right into Dundee Park. If heading towards Oak & Iron from Red Spring Road, after passing the Brewery, turn right at the intersection. Signs will designate parking.

Handicap parking - All non-handicap parking will be at Dundee Park. 

What can I bring into the event?

You should only need to bring clothing to fit the weather conditions.

Growlers are not allowed at the event. All pours will be twenty (20) ounce pours. We will not fill growlers or flights  at the 2019 Oaktoberfest.

What's the refund policy?

There will be no refunds. The event will take place September 21st rain or shine. There will be ample coverage in the event of rain to keep customers dry.

Do I have to bring my receipt to the event?

YES!  You must bring your receipt (printed or on your phone) along with your ID to the event. An Oak & Iron staff member will check your receipt and ID and provide you a glass, beer ticket, and wristband.  Buying a ticket online does not guarantee a wristband. Only a receipt with a valid form of Identification will be given a wristband.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

No. The person who purchased the ticket will be given all products associated with Oaktoberfest 

Is it ok if the name on my receipt doesn't match the person who attends?

The name on the ticket must match the purchaser of the ticket. The purchaser may buy tickets for a group but every individual in the group must provide a valid form of identification with age for a wristband.
