The Thoreau Tennis Open

The Thoreau Club and The Tim Mayotte Tennis Academy are proud to announce that we will host an International Professional Women's Tennis Tournament, The Thoreau Open, August 12th - 17th, 2019.

This tournament, in cooperation with the USTA Pro Circuit and the ITF World Tennis Tour, will attract top-ranked players from all over the world, including those who will play at the 2019 U.S. Open.

Players representing over 30 countries will compete for $60,000 prize money and coverage will be broadcast on The Tennis Channel. There are fewer than 30 tournaments of this level offered throughout the world, and the Greater-Boston area has not seen a tournament of this scope in over 14 years.

We invite you to mark your calendars for August 12th - 17th for this special event. During this week there will be many inspiring players and competitive matches to view.

August 12th - 15th - Complimentary
August 16th & 17th - Tickets must be purchased

Tickets must be purchased for the double & singles Semifinals on Friday, August 16th and the doubles & singles finals on Saturday, August 17th.
