Inner Bair Island Interpretive Walking Tour
Join POST for a beautiful walking tour of Inner Bair Island. We'll have two groups - check out a volunteer-led 2.5-mile stroll, or enjoy a volunteer-led interpretive walk that is 1.5 miles. The interpretive walking tour will highlight the wetlands and the marine life that live within, such as: Endangered Ridgeway's rails and salt marsh harvest mice. Also cottontail rabbits, peregrine falcons, pelicans, egrets, terns, and stilts. Make sure to bring binoculars to catch sight of some of the beautiful birds at Bair Island.
This event is part of POST’s community event series. These events are open to the general public and POST donors alike. We hope you will join us! POST also curates a variety of fun, donor-only events. To find out more about how you can become a POST donor, visit us at openspacetrust.org/support.
