Guitar for Busy Adults 201

Building upon the basics of GBA 101 you will now learn to perform with musical prominence; ensemble pieces, accompaniment for songs, and famous melodies. All within a group setting. Materials used are inclusive of key signatures, chords, rhythms, eight- and sixteenth notes.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:


Dr Robert Bekkers is the conductor of the Boston Guitar Orchestra, whose members benefit from his technique warm ups and thoughtful coaching during their weekly rehearsals at the Walter Baker Building. Besides performing as a soloist and chamber musician, Robert also teaches at Gordon College and South Shore Conservatory. He earned his DMA from the New England Conservatory in 2018.

Next to the Neponset River, the Walter Baker Building is within sight and walking distance of the Milton T station (which is a short ride on the Mattapan Trolley from Ashmont Station on the Red Line -- you do not pay extra for this ride).
