The Natural Resources Symposium

By RSVPing here you guarantee yourself lunch at the event. We will be serving from Breaking Bread (A program of Appetite for Change, a non-profit which envisions sustainable food systems and social change)

The Natural Resources Symposium is back and better than ever! Not only is this the premier showcase of natural resource and environmental research in the Twin Cities, but it is a means for you to connect with other professionals from around the state. Beyond our usual series of lectures and talks we will be adding a networking fair where representatives from non-academic groups will be coming to chat in a casual setting.

Our keynote speaker is Halston Sleets, who has worked with indigenous communities in Denali, is a sitting member of the Minnesota Pollution Control's Environmental Justice Advisory group, and was a senior policy aid to former Minneapolis Mayor Betsy Hodges.

If you are interested in presenting and potentially winning one of many $50-$100 Midwest Mountaineering gift cards, please send in an abstract at z.umn.edu/nrabstract
