Class Description


The literature on compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma usually focuses on what the practitioner should be doing to keep themselves healthy. This class switches the focus to the crucial role of direct supervisors and how they can recognize, prevent, and address compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma. This class moves beyond conversations about self-care and towards promoting a culture of ‘team-care’.
