Class Description

How do you know what is ok to share about yourself in your professional setting and what crosses the line? Central to the work in human services is the ability to develop rapport and establish trust. How can the provider find the right balance between being genuine and authentic and not sharing too much personal information? What is the best way to respond to those inevitable personal questions? This class takes a look at what questions professionals tend to get asked about their personal information and how to be thoughtful and skillful in responding (or not responding).
