March Career Pathways Readiness, Beyond Emancipation

Are you a 16-20 year-old looking to find a job, gain skills, and start a career?


Have you been in foster care, the justice system, affected by the child welfare system, or in unstable housing (and looking for support and a job)?


Receive $14/hour at the Career Pathways Readiness Training Program:



  • Connect with job and training placement opportunities!

  • Explore career pathways in different industries!

  • Increase your professional resources and network!

  • Build employment readiness skills!


After completing two weeks, you will access coaching and employment placement in culinary, farm business or local businesses through a paid internship, subsidized or regular employment.


Two-week Career Pathways Readiness Workshop Schedule:
*Attend an information session: Wednesday March 13th at 4pm, or Friday March 15th at 11am!


START DATE of two-week training:Monday March 18th at 4pm


Week 1: Monday March 18th -Thursday March 21st, 4-8pm
Week 2: Monday March 25th-Thursday March 28th, 10am-4pm
Where: Beyond Emancipation, 675 Hegenberger Road, Suite 100, Oakland
Why: Receive a stipend at $14/hour while expanding your skills and opportunities!
