Birch's Lucky Last Chance Dog Sledding
Shoot across snow-covered Long Lake on a 1/4 mile run behind a team of siberian huskies with Silent Run Adventures and enjoy a delicious brunch buffet in the brewhouse. Tickets available by the day / hour for each Sled Dog March Date. See birchsonthelake.com for brunch buffet menu.
This Fun and Exciting Dog Sled Experience includes a brunch buffet at a cost of $34.95 for all ages. 2 years of age or younger are free accompanied by an adult paid ticket. This experience is only associated with the buffet, No Ride Only, tickets.
Each sled can hold 2 reasonably sized adults, or 1 adult and 2 kids, or up to 3 kids. Please keep in mind that a Musher stands in the back of the sled to control the dogs, so use your best judgement when deciding who will ride and with whom.
Expectations and questions
Tickets are sold by date and increments of time. If you are having difficulties purchasing tickets, perhaps that time frame is full. Please see other times or contact Eventbrite for assistance.
When you arrive; please come dressed and ready to ride, come into Birch’s Brewhouse downstairs with your ticket and to sign a ride waiver. You will go down to the lake via the Brewhouse Deck doors and down the stairs to the ice where you should be prepared to wait your turn for your time slot to ride. Please dress weather appropriate.
Our suggestion is that you ride first and then partake from the buffet. Rides are approximately ¼ mile around a track that will pick you and let you off at the very same stop.
There will be a resting team of dogs that you are welcome to take photos near or with.
Please have your phone/camera ready to take pictures
The Siberian Huskies are so happy and excited to run, so make sure you have your phone/camera out and ready to go when you and your family get onto the sled to ensure you are able to, not only take a great photo but to avoid holding up the dog teams from running.
