Clean Power Options for Fremont with East Bay Community Energy

Members of the community are invited to visit the Fremont Main Library on Monday, December 10, 2018 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to hear from the City of Fremont, East Bay Community Energy (EBCE), and the Center for Sustainable Energy (CSE).

The City of Fremont will discuss its climate action goals and various sustainability efforts to date, as well as provide resources for residents on how they can reduce their own environmental footprint. The City will also discuss how participation in EBCE supports the City’s emissions reduction goals through the generation of cleaner, renewable energy for Fremont residents.

A representative from EBCE will give a presentation on the new cleaner energy options available to Fremont residents. EBCE will answer questions about how these options will affect residents’ PG&E bills and the community at large. Following EBCE’s presentation, CSE will present on the Clean Vehicle Rebate Project (CVRP), the state rebate program for electric vehicles. CSE will discuss how to apply for a rebate, rebate amounts, and eligibility.
