7:00pm-8:00pm - Serverless Security Scanning: CA/Veracode's move to Serverless

AWS releases a new service or feature weekly it feels like. With this much noise, it can be hard to keep up and avoid feature creep. In this talk, Pat Day from CA/Veracode will discuss his product's transition from managed AWS infrastructure to serverless. He'll discuss the improvements seen along the way as well as the pitfalls and tools needed to make this migration. You can expect to learn from this talk how to identify tradeoffs of moving to serverless, ensure monitoring doesn't miss a beat, scale easily, and reduce your infrastructure burden to deliver features faster.

Bio: Pat Day is a Principal Software Engineer at CA/Veracode. He is the architect responsible for evolving Greenlight, a fast security scanning tool hosted in AWS.
